I am 3 years from retirement age and had a nice pension set up until the downturn and lost a third of its value! I have 3 years to get that third back and ideally to even do better than that. I am seriously considering a SIPP to give me more personal control, but that brings risks too, especially in the next couple of years. But there are some bargains out there I am seeing, so some good gains are very feasible. So I am looking to meet others in a similar situation (and there must be many) where we can share ideas and share tips to help us win back our pensions. A share club in my local area
I am a member of a share club in Nottinghamshire but have recently moved to London and for obvious reasons can no longer attend. I am active in the stock market, i trade myself (mainly FTSE100 equities) and have a reasonable amount of experience. I would like to come along and say hi and see if a new club is right for me and if I'm right for it.
