Week ahead: US and Asia Pacific central banks, UK data barrage in focus

(Sharecast News) - The coming week will bring with it a steady stream of Fed speakers, together with interest rate decisions from several of Asia Pacific's main central banks.
Included amongst the latter will be those in Australia, New Zealand and China, in that order, starting from Tuesday.
Nevertheless, in the background investors around the world will be scrutinising the headlines out of the Munich Security Conference and as regards international trade.
Stateside, the Federal Reserve will release the minutes of its last policy meeting.
On home shores, come Tuesday the Office for National Statistics will release the December employment report.
Bank of England Governor, Andrew Bailey, is due to deliver a speech on that same day.
Wednesday will see UK CPI and producer price data covering the month of January.
They will be followed on Friday by a reading on UK consumer confidence, courtesy of consultancy GfK.
Preliminary purchasing Managers' Indices for the month of January will also be published at the end of the week.
US stock markets will remain shut on Monday in observance of Presidents' Day.
