Reed Elsevier is a publisher and information provider based in Amsterdam. It provides its services for professional users operating in three core markets: Science and Medical, Legal, Business. Reed Elsevier is a result of the 1992 merger between Reed International, a British trade book and magazine publisher, and the Dutch science publisher Elsevier NV. The company operates in North America and Europe.
